Eggshells is a national, confidential, virtual, trauma-informed mental health program for Veteran Families in Canada impacted by substance use. Eggshells is available to Veteran Family members, regardless of whether their loved one is in active addiction, seeking or receiving treatment, in recovery, or if they are grieving the loss of their loved one to addiction. Eggshells offers a comprehensive program that includes 24 clinical care hours (virtual group counselling) plus 16 continuing care hours (virtual peer support) to address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual impacts of present and generational trauma arising from substance use. There is no cost to participate in Eggshells for qualified Veteran family members in Canada. *Note: Eggshells is not a treatment program for substance use.
